Melinda O'Dell

Melinda O'Dell has been practicing family law for more than 15 years and has had her own practice for more than ten years.  She is admitted to practice in Indiana, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana and the U.S. Supreme Court.  Melinda graduated from Indiana University with a B.S. in Biology and received her J.D. from Indiana University School of Law–Indianapolis in 1994. Melinda is an Indiana State Bar Association Certified Family Law Specialist.  She has additional training and education in collaborative law, as a guardian ad litem (child advocate) and as a parent coordinator.  She is a member of the Indiana, Morgan County and Indianapolis Bar Associations.

Melinda provides volunteer mediation services for the Morgan County courts and she is involved in the Practice Management Section of the Indianapolis Bar Association.  She also is a member of the Kiwanis Club, and she actively supports local children's sports programs.
